AIP9971

    The AiP9971 is an FM free, Class AB/D optional power amplifier. At 5V operating voltage, the maximum drive power is 5W (2Ω, BTL load, THD<10%), and the total harmonic distortion noise in the audio range is less than 1%. AiP9971 has an internal overheat automatic shutdown protection mechanism, stable operation, gain bandwidth product up to 2.5MHz, and unit gain stability.
    AiP9971 is mainly used in Bluetooth speakers, smart speakers, navigators, portable game consoles, pull rod speakers, DVDS, loudspeakers, smart home and other audio products.

Aip9971 Description:

    The AiP9971 is an FM free, Class AB/D optional power amplifier. AiP9971 application circuit is simple, only a few peripheral devices, integrated feedback resistance; The output does not require external coupling capacitors or bootstrap capacitors and buffering networks. Sleep mode can be controlled to reduce power consumption.

    In order to avoid circuit damage caused by the output overshoot voltage of the AIP9971 operating in Class D mode, add a 12nF capacitor between the output VOP and VON in typical applications.


    (1) If there are holes in the power supply pin (VDD) cable network, the porous connection must be used, and the inner diameter of the hole must be increased, and a single hole cannot be directly connected.
    (2) The filter capacitor of the VDD port and the filter capacitor (Cb) of the Bypass port should be as close as possible to the chip pin to achieve better filtering effect.
    (3) Input capacitance (Cin) and input resistance (Ri) are placed as close as possible to the pin of the power amplifier chip, and it is best to use the ground routing method, which can effectively inhibit the noise of other signal coupling.
    (4) The bottom heat sink of AiP9971 is recommended to be welded on the PCB board for chip heat dissipation. It is recommended that the PCB use a large area of copper to connect the heat sink in the middle of the chip, and there is a certain range of copper exposure to help the chip heat dissipation.

    (5) The AiP9971 output cable connected to the horn should be as short as possible, and the cable width should be above 0.4mm.
