TX4056 is a charger circuit that can charge a single rechargeable lithium battery at constant current/constant voltage. The device includes a power transistor inside, and external current-detecting resistors and choke diodes are not required for application. The TX4056 requires very few peripheral components and conforms to the USB bus technical specification, making it ideal for portable applications.
    The heat modulation circuit can control the chip temperature within the safe range when the power consumption of the device is relatively large or the ambient temperature is relatively high. The internal fixed constant voltage charging voltage is 4.2V, and the charging current is set through an external resistor. When the input voltage (AC adapter or USB power supply) is lost, the TX4056 automatically enters low-power sleep mode, at which time the battery current consumption is less than 0.1µA. Built-in anti-backfilling protection circuit, when the battery voltage is higher than the input voltage, automatically turn off the built-in power MOSFET. Other features include low input voltage latch, automatic recharging, built-in OVP protection and charge status/charge end status indicator.
    The TX4056 comes in a heat-enhanced 8-pin small form factor package, the eSOP-8.
