DW02KA Description:
DW02KA series circuit is a high-precision single-section built-in MOSFET rechargeable lithium battery protection circuit, it integrates high-precision overvoltage charge protection, overvoltage discharge protection, overcurrent discharge protection and other performance in one.
Under normal conditions, the VDD terminal voltage of DW02KA is between the overvoltage charge protection threshold (VOC) and the overvoltage discharge protection threshold (VOD), and the VM detection terminal voltage is between the charger detection voltage (VCHG) and the overcurrent discharge protection threshold (VEDI). At this time, DW02KA makes the internal N-MOS tube on. At this time, you can either use the charger to charge the battery or discharge the battery through the load.
The DW02KA provides overcharge/discharge protection by detecting the VDD or VM terminal voltage (relative to the GND terminal). When the charge/discharge protection condition occurs, the internal N-MOS changes from on-off to off, and the charge/discharge process stops.
DW02KA has corresponding recovery conditions for each protection state. When the recovery conditions are met, the built-in N-MOS changes from off to on, thus entering the normal state.
DW02KA sets a certain delay time for each protection/recovery condition, and the corresponding protection/recovery is only performed after the protection/recovery condition has lasted for the corresponding time. If the protection/recovery condition is removed before the corresponding delay time, the protection/recovery state is not entered.
DW02KA operates with very low power consumption and in a very small SOT23-5 package, making the chip ideal for rechargeable battery pack applications with small space constraints.
